Properly Spicy Japanese Curry
I’ve done this recipe a few times now, so this time I decided to crank up the spices. Added two whole birds-eye chilis, and finished with more garam masala. Turned out pretty good!
Buldak
I love this dish – it’s fast, healthy, spicy, and full of that gochujang goodness.
Healthy Stir-Fry
Basically just cabbage and carrots with several sources of umami (shiitake and dried anchovies go great together) followed by gochujang.
Thai Beef Stew
Beef stew with spices. Not exactly sure what made this “Thai” apart from some galangal, though.

This had a few problems. The chicken wasn’t crispy enough, not enough chili peppers, and sauce wasn’t thick enough. But, at the end of the day, fried chicken covered in soy sauce and sugar can’t be bad.

This is basically the same as the oyakodon I made, but with the added effort of making katsu. Worth it? 🤔
